Construction progress of gas engine power plant in Nias reaches 30%

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN said that construction progress of a 20 MW gas engine power plant in Nias, North Sumatra, has reached 30 percent.
Amir Rosidin, PLN?s Business Director for Sumatera Region, told Petromindo.com that commercial date of operation (COD) is scheduled for October of this year.
He said that the new power plant is expected to help resolve the power shortage problem in Nias.
