Contractors compete for Cilacap power plant EPC

Government said on Tuesday that 18 contractors will submit bid for EPC of the proposed PLTU 2 Jawa Tengah 1x600 MW coal-fired power plant in Cilacap, Central Java.

The owner of the power plant is state electricity firm PLN.

Yogo Pratomo, the head of the government?s team for the 10,000 MW power crash program told reporters that the power plant will use super critical boiler with high fuel efficiency.

The contractors are:

3. Chengda Engineering Corp of China-PT Rekadaya Elektrika

All of the contractors have passed pre-qualification stage, he said.
