Contracts for procurement of goods, services signed

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has signed a total of 134 contracts worth Rp 284 billion for the first phase of the ministry?s 2017 procurement of goods and services.
In a ceremony on Friday, witnessed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Ignasius Jonan, four packages, representing the 134 contracts, were signed.
The four packages include contract signed by the ministry?s Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy for the development of solar power plant in East Nusa Tenggara worth Rp 31.2 billion; contract at the ministry?s Human Resources Development Unit in relation to supply of food in Central Java worth Rp 5.8 billion; contract at the ministry?s Research and Development Agency for CO2 injection project in South Sulawesi worth Rp 4.47 billion; and contract at ministry?s Geology Agency for drilling equipment mobilization in Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, worth Rp 1.48 billion.
The first phase of the contracts account for a mere 10 percent of the ministry?s 2017 procurement budget, which is expected to increase to 30 percent next month.
