Cooper Energy reports Kurnia-1 well drilling update

The following is an excerpt from Cooper Energy drilling update report released on Monday.
Kurnia-1 (
We are pleased to announce that we have set the 16” casing string at 1237 metres, and are now installing the Blow Out Preventers in preparation for drilling the next section of open hole.
The next ASX release will be after we have penetrated the well’s first target, the Ngrayong sandstone, about 20 metres below the casing shoe. This is expected within the next few days. (end of excerpt)
