Cooper Energy to commence Madura exploration drilling this year

Australian oil firm Cooper Energy is planning to conduct first exploration drilling in South Madura Block onshore Madura island early this year, dependent upon drilling schedules and approvals.
The company, which has 45 percent interest in the block, has identified drilling target called Kurnia-1 with gas and oil horizon. The well?s drilling cost is estimated at US$6 million. (alex)
