Cooper Energy updates Indonesia drilling activity

The following is an excerpt from Cooper Energy drilling update report released on Thursday.

Since the last release (COE310807a) the rig has drilled from 1,793 to 1,996 metres. The current operation is drilling the 12 ¼” pilot hole to 2,500 metres. Once the pilot hole has been drilled, wireline logs will be run to evaluate the oil and gas shows encountered over the following intervals: 1,260-1,265m; 1,295-1,301m and 1,783-1,791m. Following logging and sampling, the pilot hole will be widened to 17” in preparation for running the 13 ⅜” casing. (end of excerpt)
