Cooper Energy updates Indonesian drilling activity

The following is an excerpt from Cooper Energy drilling update report released on Thursday.

 

Kurnia-1 (South Madura PSC, , COE 30% Capped Free Carry)

 

Since the last release the rig has drilled from 1,231 to 1,760 metres.

 

The current operation is the drilling of a 12 ¼” pilot hole to 2,500 metres. Once the pilot hole has been drilled, electric logs will be run and wireline pressure and fluid samples will be taken in the Ngrayong Formation, which was encountered as predicted. Following logs and samples the pilot hole will be widened to 17” in preparation for running the 13 ⅜” casing. (end or excerpt)
