Cooper, Nations to spud E. Java onshore well April 2010

Australian oil, gas firm Cooper Energy Limited said it and partner will drill Gigir East-1 onshore well in South Madura PSC in April 2010.
The company said in a presentation released on Wednesday that the well will be drilled to the depth of 1,234 meters, targeting Bulu formation. The well has P50 recoverable resource potential of 32 BCF. Drilling costs are estimated at US$5 million.
The block?s operator Nations Petroleum is working to identify and contract rig for the drilling.
Cooper has 30 percent interest in the block. (denny)
