Cooper reports higher production

ASX-listed energy company Cooper Energy announced that production from Bunian-1 field within the Sukananti KSO in the fourth quarter of 2012 totaled 12,604 barrels of oil, giving the firm?s net oil entitlement 6,002 barrels with a 55 percent interest.
The net entitlement is equivalent to an average rate of 137 bopd, which is a 25 percent increase above production in the previous quarter, the firm said in a report.
Workover of Tangai-1 in the Sukananti KSO is expected to commence in February and if successful will further increase oil production.
In addition to Sukananti, Cooper is also 100 percent owner of the Sumbagsel PSC. It said sesimic acquisition is expected to commence in the Sumabagsel PSC in the second half of calendar 2013.
Farmout discussions in relation to the Sumbagsel PSC are underway, the report said.
