Cooper?s oil output in Indonesia up 74%

ASX-listed Cooper Energy Limited announced on Wednesday its share of production from the Sukananti KSO, South Sumatra was 16,241 barrels (176 bopd) 74 percent higher than the previous quarter?s production share of 9,192 barrels (101 bopd) due to continuing strong production from both Bunian-1 and Tangai-1.
Planning commenced for a 3 well development drilling program in the Sukananti KSO, scheduled for the June quarter of 2014, the firm said in a statement filed with the Australian Stock Exchange. The firm has a 55 percent interest in the Sukananti KSO.
The firm further said acquisition of a 265 km 2D seismic survey commenced in the Sumbagsel PSC in South Sumatra in July this year. The objective of the survey is to delineate exploration targets for drilling during 2014, immediately following the development drilling program noted above.
The firm also noted that reprocessing of over 3000km of 2D seismic data from the Merangin III PSC, also in South Sumatra was commenced during the quarter to mature targets for further seismic in 2014.
