Cooper to drill 2-3 wells of Sukananti KSO in Q4 2015

ASX-listed Cooper Energy plans to drill 2-3 development wells in the Sukananti KSO in South Sumatra in the fourth quarter of next year.

The company said in a material persentation released on Monday that the production has been steadily increased through program of workover initiatives.

?Sukananti has completed as water injector or disposal well, triples existing fluid handling capacity and facilitates extra oil production,? the company said.

Oil production in fiscal year of 2014 has reached 55,000 barrels, up from 23,000 barrels a year earlier. Further growth is expected to occur in the 2015 fiscal year, according to the company.

Meanwhile, the Tangai-3 well has successful lifted production to current rate of 370 bopd (COE share 205 bopd).

Cooper is operating the Sukananti field, which is owned by Indonesian state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina under a joint operation agreement (KSO).
