Cooperation agreements signed at renewables forum

A number of MoUs on cooperation in the renewables sector were signed at the first day of the September 13-15 IndoEBTKE ConEx, an annual forum and exhibition aimed at promoting renewables development in Indonesia.
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement Wednesday the first MoU was signed between the Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation and the board of the Indonesia Real Estate Association on solar photovoltaic installed at rooftop of new house buildings.
The second MoU was between state-owned electricity firm PT PLN and state-owned infrastructure financing firm PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) on funding of geothermal working areas.
The third is a MoU on cooperation for research, development and geothermal resources utilization between the University of Indonesia, University of Gajah Mada, Technology Institute of Bandung, Trisakti, PT PLN, and geothermal company PT Geodipa Energi.
The fourth is cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources? Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) and the China National Petroleum Corporation on acceleration of development of energy and mineral resources in Indonesia.
