ConocoPhillips Indonesia (COPI), the local unit of US energy giant ConocoPhillips Company, has so far been producing higher than this year?s target set out in the Work Plan and Budgeting (WPnB), according to the upstream authority BPMIGAS.

BPMIGAS Deputy of Operation Rudi Rubiandini said that COPI?s production has so far this year reached 931 mmscfd, which is about 104 percent of the target set in this year?s WPnB which stood at 895 mmscfd.

However, the rate is still lower than what has been determined in the 2012 State Budget, which is 971 mmscfd.

BPMIGAS did not disclose the details of the production. COPI currently operates seven blocks here. They are the South Natuna Sea Block B PSC, the Amborip VI PSC, the Kuma PSC, the Arafura Sea PSC, the Corridor Block PSC and the South Jambi ?B? PSC as well as the Warim PSC in Papua.
