Correction from source: Pertamina says Balikpapan refinery to resume ops Nov 11

State oil, gas firm PT Pertamina said its 260,000-BPD Balikpapan refinery, East Kalimantan, will resume operations on November 11, 2009.

Processing Director Rukmi Hadihartini said the refinery was shut down since October.

Earlier, a Pertamina official said a 60,000 barrel-a-day crude distillation unit (CDU) will be switched off for 25 days

The CDU produces various products, including Light Naptha, Heavy Naptha, Kerosene, LGO, HGO, and Long Residue. (godang/bernard)
