CORRECTION: Lematang block to increase gas production to 42 bbtud

Gas production from the Singa field in the Lematang block, South Sumatra is targeted to increase to 42 bbtud in December this year from 30 bbtud at present, according to a Petromindo?s source.
?Currently the gas production from Lematang block has reached up 30 bbtud. Medco and partner will increase it to 42 bbtud this December,? the source told Petromindo.com.
The source corrected the previous statement by an official from Lundin Petroleum AB, a partner in the block, that the field?s gas production is targeted to increase to 48 mmscfd in December from 30 mmscfd at present.
The Singa field has been producing gas since 2010, according to him.
IDX-listed PT Medco Energi Internasional is the operator of the block with a 74% percent stake with Lundin controlling the balance.
