The 2D 1,500 km seismic survey in the Bone PSC offshore Sulawesi by Mitra Energy (Indonesia Bone) Limited, a unit of privately-owned independent oil and gas exploration firm Mitra Energy Limited, is still in progress, according to an official of upstream authority SKK Migas.

He said the firm has thus far acquired seismic data on 449 km, out of the planned 1,500 km.

?The recording started in January 2015 and the progress (of the survey) has reached 449 km out of the planned 1,500 km ,? Dwi Nurcahyanto, Head of Survey Realization and Exploration Drill Division at SKK Migas, told Petromindo.com Friday.

He corrected his previous statement (posted earlier today on this portal) that the seismic survey has been completed. He also said Mitra started the survey in January, using the vessel SV Nordic Bahari.
