CORRECTION: North Belut to start ops Q4

US energy giant ConocoPhilips said on Wednesday that the start-up of its North Belut field is now expected in the fourth quarter of 2009.
The North Belut field is located in Block B of the Indonesian sector of the Natuna Sea, approximately 60 kilometers east-northeast of the Belanak FPSO installed in the Belanak Field.
ConocoPhillips is the operator of the Block B contract area, with 40 percent interest. Partners include INPEX Natuna Ltd (35 percent) and Chevron (25 percent).
The company also said that during the third quarter of 2009 it executed new agreements for exploration opportunities in Indonesia.
