CORRECTION: SKK Migas eyes Bukit Tua's first production in late 2014

Upstream authority SKK Migas is trying to push the first production of Bukit Tua field within Ketapang block in East Java to the end of 2014, sooner than the target set under the plan of development (PoD).
"The Target of PoD is mid 2015, but we are pushing Petronas to be able to come on stream by the end of 2014 in Bukit Tua," Rudi Riambono, Head of Project Management at SKK Migas told petromindo.com
SKK Migas is currently monitoring the construction of wellhead platform by PT PAL Indonesia. "The scope of the contract with PAL has been recently re-arranged as before there was an issue with workload and space," he said without further elaboration.
