Corridor block on schedule to supply gas to West Java

Canadian top oil, gas producer Talisman Energy said Thursday that the expansion program of Corridor facilities (Suban phase 2) and the pipeline to West Java are proceeding on schedule for production start in the first quarter of 2007.

The Corridor Block, which is operated by ConocoPhillips will supply 2.3 TCF of gas over a period of 17 years commencing in the first quarter of 2007 at a rate of 170 MMCFD to western part of Java though pipeline built by state gas distribution firm PGN. Gas deliveries to PGN will plateau at 400 MMCFD in 2012 until the contract termination in 2023.

Talisman has 36 percent interest in Corridor block. (alex)
