Corridor Block?s gas reserves revised upward

Canadian top oil firm Talisman energy said on Thursday that proven and probable gas reserves in Corridor Block PSC in South Sumatra had been revised upward from 5.8 TCF to 8 TCF as results of additional production and pressure data.
Talisman has 36 percent working interest in Corridor Block that is operated by US oil giant ConocoPhillips, which has 54 percent working interest. State oil and gas company Pertamina holds the remaining 10 percent interest in the block.
Production from Corridor Block is currently around 37,000 BOEPD.
Corridor block is supplying gas to Caltex Pacific Indonesia?s steam flood facilities in Central Sumatra and to Singapore. 2.4 TCF gas supply to state electricity firm PLN and state gas distribution firm PGN is expected to be closed soon. (alex)
