COSL wins drilling, well completion fluid service contract in RI

China Oilfield Services Ltd (COSL) said it has recently won tender for a two-year drilling and well completion fluid service contract in Indonesia.

COSL explained that the company's chemical technology services under the well service segment entered the market in Indonesia in 2005. Following years of development, the company's presence in the market in Indonesia has been expanding and now includes well cementing, drilling and completion fluids and acidification services, etc. It added coil tubing services to the offerings.

The company said in a statement Friday that against a backdrop of plunging oil prices, the company had been able to beat the peers and win this drilling and well completion fluid service contract due to its robust technological strengths and reliable backend operation support capabilities.

?This represents a major achievement for the company's market development efforts in Indonesia and showcases client's endorsement to the previous high quality delivery of technical services,? COSL said.
