Court annuls Armeno-Merukh mining agreement

The South Jakarta District Court has decided to annul the letter of agreement between Canadian mining firm Ag Armeno Mines and Minerals Inc. and Indonesian miner Yusuf Merukh over the acquisition of shares in the Batu Hijau gold project in West Nusa Tenggara.
Court secretary Dimyati Masduki said on Tuesday the decision was announced during the hearing on Monday in the absence of the lawyers representing both parties.
