The Central Jakarta District Court has turned down a legal suit filed by the association of Indonesian consultants (Inkindo) against state owned gas distribution company PGN for lack of evidences, Investor Daily reported on Friday.

The daily reported that the court's verdict was made during the court's session on Tuesday.

In its legal suit, Inkindo demanded the court to stop the ongoing construction of the South Sumatra -West Java gas pipeline project. According to the association, the companies winning the tender to build the gas pipeline did not possess licenses and certifications in the field of construction services consultancy as required by the construction law.

The companies which won the tender include Penspen Limited, PT Petrochindo Utama and PT Erranersi Konstruksindo.(*)
