Australian mining firm Coziron Resources Ltd said that it has been granted a mining license over the Rawang Gadang iron ore project from the Regent of Solok, West Sumatra.

The mining license granted covers an area of 19 km2, encompassing an area of recent drilling which has returned elevated levels of magnetite mineralisation, Coziron said in statement on Monday.

The company also said it has signed an initial off-take agreement with Chinese trader China Kingdom International Ltd (CKI), where CKI would have the first option to purchase iron ore from Rawang project. (denny)
