Coziron starts first drilling activity in W. Sumatra iron project

Australian mining firm Coziron Resources Ltd said Monday that it has started the first drill program at Rawang Gadang iron ore project in Solok regency, West Sumatra.
The proposed program comprises up to 3,000 meters of diamond drilling over approximately 40 holes, the company said in statement.
According to Coziron, the program will complete over the next two months and is designed to test the lateral extent of the magnetite mineralization.
The Rawang Project has produced significant regional geochemical results with consistent grades of around 64%Fe. Composite trench sampling has peaked at 89.25%Fe.
The company?s other projects are the Kunyit Iron Ore Project, Lubuk Gadang Zinc/Lead Project and Inderapura Area Coal Project; all are located in West Sumatra.
