CPI comitted to assisting Sakai community

General Services Manager of PT Caltex Pasific Indonesia 's SBU I operatrion unit Nyoman Pudjana said on Thursday that the oil company would continue to provide assistance to improve the welfare of the Sakai tribe.
He said that the oil giant did not only help build schools but also constructed bridges and roads as part of its commitment to help the welfare of the Sakai community in the province.
"PT CPI also helps improve the welfare of the teachers," he said at the official inauguration of the communication forum for the sons and daughters of the Sakai tribe (FKPPS).
Sakai, one of the eldest tribe in the country but far lagged behind from others almost in all sectors of lives. The Sakai people are often used by a certain group of people for their own benefit.
A number of government officials and executives of several big companies operating in the province also took part in the inaugural ceremony. (*)
