Crude from Seram?s Oseil field continues flow at 4,000 BPD

Australian listed oil company Kalrez Energy Limited said on Tuesday its joint venture partner and the operator of Seram production sharing contract (PSC), Kufpec (Indonesia) Limited, had normally continued commissioning crude and associated from the Oseil oilfield.

?Oseil 4 continues to flow under natural flow at approximately 4,000 barrels per day,? Kalrez said adding oil type is low API, high sulphur.

Kalrez said approximately 30,000 barrels of unprocessed crude had produced on that day.

As previously reported, crude would be sold under contract to BP in Singapore, with contract pricing relating to Singapore High Sulphur Fuel Oil (HSFO) pricing.

Kufpec was concentrated on bringing Oseil 2 onstream, after which it would commence the commissioning of Oseil 1, the company said without specifying when the target of commencement.

Seram PSC is located on Seram island in Maluku province. Kalrez is a 2.5 percent working interest in the block, which owns and operates the Oseil oilfield. The major shareholder is Kufpec with 97.5 percent. (robert)
