Crude production from Oseil down in Q1

Australian junior oil firm Lion Energy Limited said on Friday that first quarter oil production from Oseil field in Seram (non-Bula) PSC, Maluku, averaged 3,734 barrels per day, compared to 3,947 barrels per day in the previous quarter.
The field has produced 3.6 million barrels of oil since its commencement in 2003, said the company. It also said that development drilling Phase II to increase the field?s production capacity continued during the quarter.
Lion has 2.5 percent interest in Seram (Non-Bula) PSC, while Kuwaiti?s KUFPEC has the remaining 75 percent. (alex)
