Cue says Oyong-3 well in E. Java PSC reaches 600 m

Australian oil and gas explorer Cue Energy Resources Limited said Friday that on 19 October the Oyong-3 appraisal well in the Sampang production sharing contract ( PSC) area offshore East Java, was at 600 meters in 17(1/2)" hole and was preparing to run a wiper trip.
20 inch casing has been run to 371 meters, said Cue.
The Oyong-3 well is designed to appraise the oil and gas columns encountered in the Mundu Formation in both the Oyong-1 and Oyong-2 wells.
The well is programmed to a total depth of 1,125 meters in 15 days.
Australian oil, gas firm Santos Limited is the operator and the holder of 45 percent working interest in the block while Coastal Indonesia Sampang and Cue respectively hold 40 percent and 15 percent. (alex)
