IDX-listed commodity trading, mining services and marine transportation company PT Daaz Bara Lestari Tbk (IDX: DAAZ) reported a decline in net profit for the full year 2025, even as the company posted robust revenue growth and significant balance sheet expansion.
The company booked revenue of Rp13.41 trillion in 2025, up sharply from Rp10.13 trillion in 2024, reflecting stronger trading volumes and expansion across its subsidiaries.
However, net profit fell to Rp355.7 billion, compared with Rp608.9 billion a year earlier, as rising costs and higher financing expenses weighed on margins.
Cost of revenues climbed to Rp12.51 trillion, outpacing revenue growth and compressing gross profit to Rp902.3 billion, down from Rp1.03 trillion in 2024.

Operating expenses also increased significantly to Rp273.3 billion, while finance costs surged to Rp201.5 billion, highlighting the impact of higher borrowings and funding needs.
As a result, profit before tax dropped to Rp392.6 billion, nearly halving from Rp718.3 billion in the previous year.
Despite weaker profitability, the company expanded its asset base substantially. Total assets rose to Rp6.32 trillion as of end-2025, up from Rp5.13 trillion in 2024.
