Daewoo seeks more coal from Indonesia

South Korean trading firm Daewoo International Corp. plans to boost its coal import from Indonesia next year, the company?s official told Petomindo.Com.
Daewoo has started trading activity of coal from Indonesia since 2010, and this year the company has sealed around 2 million tonnes of coal from Indonesian producers.
The company is buying the coal with calorific value from 3,200 kcal/kg (NAR)-up with varied moisture content. For next year the company will be seeking to get more coal from Indonesia. ?Next year, we are targeting to ship 4-5 vessels per month,? the official said.
The official did not give the name of the current coal suppliers.
