Daewoong seeks to penetrate RI power component market

South Korea?s Daewoong Electric Co Ltd is teaming up with local company PT Jaladri Prima Intertrade to penetrate the Indonesian electricity component market.

Daewoong CEO Choi Jung Nam told a press conference on Thursday unveiling the cooperation that Indonesia?s power sector development offers new business opportunities for the company.

Daewong among others produces components for power substations, while Jaladri has been a supplier of components for PLN. He said that the company is ready to compete with other global component manufacturers which have already established long presence in Indonesia including ABB, GE, and Siemens.

One of the products to be offered to PLN is to develop digitalized substation and distribution system in Indonesia. (*)
