Dalle Energy starts construction of mini hydro power plant in C. Java

Private power company PT Dalle Energy has recently started construction of a combined 6 MW mini hydro power plant near in Tegal Regency, Central Java Province.
?Construction has just started, the target is to complete it at the end of next year,? said Muhmmad Iqbal Adnan, Operation Director of PT Dalle Energy Services, a subsidiary of Dalle Energy, to Petromindo.com on Wednesday.
He said that this is Dalle Energy?s third power plant project. The company has previously completed a combined 5.2 MW mini hydro power plant in Cikaso, Sukabumi, West Java. The electricity is sold to state-owned power firm PT PLN at a price of Rp 656 per kWh under a 20-year contract. The second is a mini hydro power plant in Cilaki, Garut, West Java Province, with capacity of 2x4 MW. The electricity output is sold to PLN at a price of Rp 850 per kWh under a 15-year contract.
Iqbal said that Dalle Energy is also interested in developing wind power plant and geothermal power plant. He said the company is currently conducting survey over a plan to build wind power plant in Sumatra.
