Darma Henwa finalizes coal services contract with AKT

IDX-listed coal mining services company PT Darma Henwa Tbk is currently finalizing a new contract with coal mining firm PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (AKT) for work at the latter?s mine in Muara Teweh, in Central Kalimantan Province.

Ivi Sumarna Suryana, Darma Henwa Director, said that the contract is effected to start in early 2017. ?The contract for the project is currently at the finalization stage and is expected to begin in early 2017,? Ivi said.

Ivi said that the estimated US$57 will last for five years.

Darma Henwa has also recently obtained a contract from PT Cakrawala Langit Sejahtera (CLS) at its Satui mine in Kalimantan for works including land clearance, overburden removal, mining, and rehabilitation. ?The Mulia coal project is expected to be implemented by the company in the first quarter of 2017,? she said.

The value of the contract is estimated at $100 million, where the company is set to obtain $18.8 million of revenue next year, and continue to increase to reach $24 million in 2020. ?The AKT and Mulia coal projects have made the management of the company to be optimistic about the coming years.?
