Darma Henwa gets $31.8m contract

IDX-listed mining service company PT Darma Henwa said on Tuesday it has bagged a US$31.8 million contract from PT Dire Pratama to conduct mining service at the Bengalon mine of PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) in East Kalimantan.

Dire Pratama signed the coal handling contract with KPC on April 10, 2014 and it subsequently appointed Darma Henwa to handle some of the contract works to Darma Henwa.

The works to be handled by Darma Henwa include the operation and maintenance of coal handling facilities (plant and terminal) such as crusher, reclaimer, conveyor and jetty, as well as the provision of equipment, sevice and manpower related to coal handling services. The duration of the contract is five years starting on June 20, 2014, the firm said.
