Darma Henwa?s Q1 coal output up to 2.7m tons

IDX-listed coal mining services company PT Darma Henwa Tbk said that coal production from the entire mines it operated during the first quarter of this year rose slightly to 2.7 million tons compared to 2.6 million tons in the same period of last year.
The company said in a statement received over the weekend that overburden removal during the quarter reached 17.3 million bank cubic meters (BCM), down from 20.6 million BCM in the quarter of 2012.
Darma Henwa operates four coal concessions in East and South Kalimantan owned by PT Kaltim Prima Coal, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Berau Coal Energy and Baramuti Group.
