IDX-listed coal mining services company PT Darma Henwa Tbk said it has secured contract to develop PT Arutmin Indonesia?s Satui and Mulia mine sites in South Kalimantan, and will start operation in the second quarter of 2016.

PT Arutmin and PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia have ended the contract for the two mine sites in late 2013. Arutmin then appointed PT Cakrawala Langit Sejahtera (CLS) to take over the coal projects from Thiess.

CLS is a newly established mining contractor company that doesn?t have any project yet. ?So, it appoints Darma Henwa to handle the projects," Wachjudi Martono, President Director of PT Darma Henwa, said on Tuesday.

Wachjudi added that the company will use the existing heavy equipment in the projects and will not allocate large capital expenditure for equipment procurement.
