Australian-listed firm Dart Energy said Wednesday that it plans to spud the second core hole in Tanjung Enim CBM Block in onshore South Sumatra within two weeks time, which will be followed by a 3-well pilot program utilizing the same equipment.
Dart Energy said that one rig is currently on site in Tanjung Enim. The first well was spudded on 25 March 2011.
Dart has also deployed one rig to the Sangatta West CBM block with three wells drilled to date and forth pilot well underway. Sangatta West, according to Dart, demonstrates good gas flows.
As for Muralim block, rigs expected to mobilize during the third quarter to drill two exploration wells.
Dart Energy expects potential for early gas-to-wire sales from Tanjung Enim/Muralim exploration. (romel)
