Dart to start S. Sumatra CBM drilling campaign

Australia-listed CBM developer Dart Energy will shortly commence 6-well drilling program at Tanjung Enim CBM PSC in South Sumatra.

The company said 2011 drilling program at Tanjung Enim will consist of three core wells and three pilot wells.

Dart the the Tanjung Enim Block operator with 45 percent working interest, with the balance equally shared by state coal mining firm PT Bukit Asam (Persero) and state oil, gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero).

The company also has interest in several other CBM blocks in Sumatra and Kalimantan and is in the process to evaluate a further 6 CBM blocks in Indonesia and has also commenced evaluation on CBM blocks that are offered by the government this year. (kanti)
