Corporate secretary Endang Wijaya told Petromindo.Com that the consortium had signed letter of intent (LoI) and soon will sign the contract. He refused to give the names of other participants in the consortium.
?Just wait the announcement from PLN,? he said, without giving further details.
In a June statement, Dayaindo secured coal export contracts amounting to 16.13 million tons (MT) for 2010 shipments.
The company said around 5.47 MT of the export contract volume will be sourced from its coal mine unit PT Risna Karya Wardhana Mandiri in Tanah Bumbu regency, South Kalimantan and other Kalimantan miners which have ties with the company under joint operation cooperation. The rest will come from third party.
Their clients include India?s firm NPTC, Chinese firm Guandong Zhenrong Energy, global trading firm Glencore AG and India?s firm Bhatia International. (denny)
