Indonesian coal producer Delma Mining Corporation plans to establish industrial zone near their mining area in Bulungan, East Kalimantan.

"There will be power plant, smelter, gassification infrastructures and so on," said Delma Coal CEO Bob Kamandanu in Jakarta Tuesday, adding that the industrial zone will be set up in over 1,000 hectares of land.

The company is currently waiting for the finalized proposals from power plants and industrial zone consultants, which results will be submitted to the government.

"We expected to have all proposals submitted, licenses obtained and blueprint of the plan ready in May," he said, adding that the company is waiting for land use permit from regional government and industrial zone permit from the Ministry of Industry.
