Delta Dunia produces flat coal output

IDX-listed coal mining services company PT Delta Dunia MakmurTbk said that coal production in July of this year reached 2.7 million tons, or the same as in the same month of last year.
Corporate Secretary Errinto Pardede said that production in the January-July period has reached 18.3 million tons, or 59 percent of the full-year target of 31 million tons.
He said that overburden removal volume in July reached 24.8 million bank cubic meters, or a slight increase from 23 million bcm in July of last year. Overburden removal volume in the first seven months of this year has reached 58.7 percent of the full-year target of 270 million bcm.
Errinto said that the company remains optimistic to meet the full-year targets as operation has been running quite well so far. He said that looking at past trend, highest production level should be reached in August. So far, the highest production level was made in February and the lowest in March.
Through subsidiary PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), Delta Dunia has coal mining services contracts with coal firms PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Berau Coal, PT Bayan Resources and PT Kideco Jaya Agung, with mines all located in Kalimantan.
