Delta Dunia sets higher coal production target

IDX-listed mining services firm PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk has set a higher coal production target of 33-37 million tons this year, compared to last year?s output of output of 30.9 miillion tons, Kontan reported Friday.

The paper quoted company Director Erinto Pardede as saying that over burden removal volume was targeted to be about the same as last year?s to reach 260-280 million bank cubic meters (bcm), compared to 276.7 million bcm.

Delta Dunia has allocated US$56 million for capital expenditure of this year, up from $40 million last year.

The paper said that the company has obtained contract to develop infrastructure facilities at the coal concession of PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama, which operates in Central Kalimantan. (*)
