Demand for BAM coal remains stable

South Kalimantan coal miner PT Borneo Bara Mandiri (BAM) said that coal demand from its foreign buyers remained stable at between 30,000-50,000 tons per month with CV of 3900-5000 kcal/kg (GAR).

"The company has secured contract with foreign buyers until the end of this year," said an industrial sources to Petromindo.com, adding that the company aimed to ramp up its production to between 70,000-100,000 tons per month in 2013.

The company has two concessions in Sungai Danau dan Asam-asam. Their foreign buyers are mostly from China and India with terms of coal sales being FOB Barge or FOB Vessel.
