Denmark offers EOR technology

Denmark has offered enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technology with CO2 injection system to Indonesian oil and gas firms PT Pertamina and PT Medco Energi Internasional to be used in oil and gas fields with high CO2 content.
?They (Denmark) offered EOR technology with CO2 injection system,? Public Relations Chief of upstream authority SKK Migas, Elan Biantoro told Petromindo.com Tuesday. ?They have discussed this with Pertamina and Medco.?
Danish Minister of Trade and Investment Pia Olsen Dyhr visited Indonesia on Monday, leading a business delegation to promote investment and trade activities between the two nations.
Separately, Director for Exploration and New Exploration Development at PT Pertamina EP Dodi Priambodo said that the planned cooperation with Denmark is still at ?corporate discussion? level. He, however, said that the company has beeen in cooperation with the Japanese government to use a similar technology in the Gundih Block, in Cepu, Central Java.
?We?re currently conducting a joint study with a Japanese university and ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) at the Gundih Block,? he said.
