Development of four ONWJ fields postponed to 2016

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), the operator of ONWJ block offshore West Java, has decided to postpone the development of four fields in ONWJ block to 2016, according to an official of the firm.

?The PoD (Plan of Development) of the four fields, namely YY, SP, KLD, and FSB, is being reviewed given the oil price drop. We will submit the PoD next year," Communications and Relations Manager of PHE ONWJ Donna Priadi told Petromindo.com.

Although PHE ONWJ is reviewing its activities at the block, the company will not lower its oil and gas production this year, according to Donna.

"Production target for this year is approximately 40,000s barrels per day of oil and 180 mmscfd of gas, pending the approval by (upstream authority) SKK Migas of the revised WP&B (Work Program and Budget). We shall discuss with SKK Migas on the revised WP&B this week,? she said.
