Devon to start South Sumatra oil survey in April

Devon Energy Bangko Ltd., a unit of U.S. oil and gas firm Devon Energy, will start oil and gas survey in the Mura regency area in South Kalimantan sometime between April and June this year, according head of the local mining office Hendra Gunawan.

He was quoted by the local Sumatra Express daily as saying Wednesday that the survey, to cover five district areas, would try to obtain description of oil potential in the areas.
