Dewata expects to start C. Kalimantan production in 2018

Coal mining company, PT Naan Bara Abadi (NBA), a subsidiary of PT Darma Putera Wahana Pratama (Dewata) is planning to start coking coal production in 2018.
Paulus W. Broto, President Director of Dewata told Petromindo.com on Friday that the mine is expected to produce 1 million tonnes in the first year.
Paulus said the company is currently applying for production operation license to pave way for production stage, adding that the company is also looking for offtakers.
The mine is located in Murung Raya regency, Central Kalimantan, covering 2,400 hectares with reserves of 30 million tons.
According to Paulus, the company has reached agreement with a mining company located adjacent to its mine to utilize its 30-kilometer existing hauling road to transport coal to Barito River.
