Dian Swastatika grants $50m of loan to other coal unit

Indonesian listed coal group PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSS) said Wednesday that it has handed US$50 million loan to its coal unit PT Bumi Kencana Eka Sejahtera (BKES)
DSS in statement said that the money was given to BKES for working capital, capital expenditure and to finance the expansion of its coal business.
When contacted by Petromindo.Com on Thursday, a company official said that BKES is another coal unit owned by DSS, aside from PT Golden Energy Mines (GEM).
The official said that BKES has several coal mines in Sumatra, but he declines to give further detail. (denny)
