Dian Swastatika reports higher coal production

IDX-listed coal mining and power company PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk said that coal production in the first nine months of this year increased by 14.28 percent to 7.2 million tons from 6.3 million tons in the corresponding period of last year.

The company said in a statement on Tuesday that sales volume in the period rose by 26.15 percent to 8.2 million tons from 6.5 million tons in the nine-month period of last year. Sales value was US$277.8 million.

Dian said that domestic market accounted for 60 percent of its sales, with remainder went to export market.

The company, through indirect coal mining subsidiary IDX-listed PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk, currently has a number of coal concessions in Jambi, South Kalimantan, and Central Kalimantan provinces.
